At FoodBook, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data permanently from our systems directly within the FoodBook application.

How to Delete Your Account

To permanently delete your FoodBook account and associated data:

1. Ensure you are logged into the FoodBook application on your device.
2. Navigate to the 'Settings' section within the app.
3. Find and select the 'Close Account' or 'Delete Account' option.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the account deletion.

Please Note: This action is irreversible.

What Happens Next?

Once you confirm the deletion within the app, the process will begin. This action is irreversible and will permanently remove your profile, reviews, ratings, comments, saved lists, and any other personal information linked to your account from our active systems.

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

Please note that some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes, but it will not be personally identifiable.
